Drill baby Drill

Read this over another forum..

"DRILL BABY DRILL???????? Oil companies are making record profits...right? They have 10,000 leases on 68 million acres that were granted to them by the government of this great country. They won't explore or drill these leases.WHY WOULD THEY? They are making record profits by buying oil and closing refineries. You really think giving them more land leases is going to do a damn thing?"

There is no incentive for big oil to drill any more. Why waste money on 10 years of investments, while the cash cow is yielding mind boggling profits right now? There is no incentive for the Republican thugs to invest in alternate energy, the big oil companies are their soul mates. You bet there will be more closed door energy policies and this swine will claim executive privilege again.
Unless the feces really hits the fan, these politicians who have sold their mothers to big oil will not let anything good happen in development of alternate energy resources.
