CNN reports that Haj pilgrimage makes Muslims more tolerant. Wow. Amazing finding. I bet none of those who were in Mumbai shooting innocent bystanders had ever done a Haj pilgrimage. You know what, Musharraf would keep making multiple trips in a year during his regime. Zia Ul Haq, the avid India hater, was a zillion time Hajji. I am glad he died the way he did.
Honestly, if "I felt that the world is small and we all sharing one place ... the earth. We should all live in peace with each other, whether with Muslims or non- Muslims," is a feeling that really prevails in Hajjis, more power to Haj. I'll endorse Indian Government subsidizing Haj trips for Indian Muslims. Lord, India has endured a 1000 years of Islamic tyranny, 60 years of bloodbath even after Independence, and we are waiting for people to see the light.
